Fire-rated wired glass, also known as Georgian Polished Wire (GPW), is clear polished glass with a square wire mesh set inside the pane. If the glass cracks from heat, the wire helps hold it in the frame, slowing the spread of flames and smoke. Whether for commercial, institutional or older residential buildings, it's a practical choice wherever fire separation matters.

We cut wired glass to size for fire doors, vision panels, sidelites, transoms and partitions—matching your existing frames and openings with precision.
